Strawberry Rhubarb Jam

For this we use the sweet, tiny half-wild strawberries that grow in our garden.  They are a far cry from the giant sour, foamboard-consistency strawberries that you can buy year-round in the grocery store.  Back in the day, Haines was known as the strawberry capital of Alaska.  Our climate produces these smaller sweeter berries to perfection!
